Contract Description

Base Project: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment required to: Remove and replace two large 5000KVA utility grade transformers with two 6000 KVA utility grade transformers. Remove and replace a total of 16 smaller medium voltage transformers in the range of 30 KVA to 750 KVA. Provide passive, anti-ram rated bollards in accordance with ASTM F2656 crash rating requirements (minimum M30/P1 or as directed by VA), installed per Specification Section 34 71 13. Bollards shall be placed a minimum of 3 feet from transformer pads, spaced no more than 5 feet apart, and removable where located within electrical working clearances, designed per project drawings.
