Contract Description
The United States Department of the Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) intends to award a sole source contract to, Thomas D. Morris, Inc., Reisterstown, MD 21136-3827. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals however If interested Government shall consider all responses. NMRC's Undersea Medicine Department (UMD) is carrying out animal research, assessing the impact of carbon dioxide on simulated disabled submarine (DISSUB) survival and decompression sickness at 5 ATA air in a 70 kg swine model. The requested requirement is for research that focuses on enhancing the survival, escape, and rescue of crew members in a distressed submarine scenario.
