Contract Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Antcom GPS/Passive Iridium Antenna (P/N P/N: 1.5GIR1516RR-AP-XSS-1) for the National Data Buoy Center at Stennis Space Center, MS. This is a Brand Name Requirement. Vendors must be a verified reseller of Antcom. Brand Name Justification: Antcom brand name is essential to the requirement and market research indicates similar products do not meet or cannot be modified to meet agency needs. The NDBC uses the Antcom model 1.5GIR1516RR-AP-XSS-1 dual antenna in its coastal weather buoys, coastal land-based weather stations, auxiliary payloads, and in the Tropical Atmosphere Ocean (TAO) buoys to reduce fabrication costs and reduce the number of spare antenna required to be kept in inventory...
