Contract Description
Pre-solicitation Notice DESCRIPTION The Department of Veterans Affairs, Cincinnati VA Medical Center, intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) to Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, for Monochloramine Systems Water Management Services. The proposed contract action is for the continuation of service, maintenance, monitoring, chemical supply, and regulatory compliance support for three (3) installed monochloramine (iChlor ) water treatment systems and twenty-two (22) Sentinel monitoring units currently in operation at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. The system treats the domestic cold-water supply by injecting sodium hypochlorite and ammonium sulfate to produce monochloramine for Legionella control.
