Contract Description
Design/Build for Charleston Pier Mike Recapitalization, USCG Base Charleston, South Carolina includes the complete demolition of the existing Pier Mike and all associated waterfront and landside structures, utilities, and supporting facilities. It includes construction of a new Pier Mike capable of homeporting four single cutters and one nested visiting cutter in the mooring configuration as shown on RFP drawings. The USCG will designate Pier Mike for homeporting of the Offshore Patrol Cutters (OPC) classes, however, each homeported and visiting berth must be capable of alternately mooring National Security Cutters (NSC).
