Contract Description
This Class Justification and Approval covers all VSFB controller system purchases from the effective date of this Class Justification and Approval through 2031. DDC controller system purchases during the next 5 years are expected to number 2,000 units (the number of units expected to reach the end of service life). The 2,000 units was calculated utilizing builder data with the HVAC systems, nearing end of life, that will require an upgrade/update including the control system. This data was acquired from the Builder SMS data. From that, a single controller was calculated for each air handler, boiler, and chiller.
