Concrete and Masonry Scanning Services Argonne National Laboratory Argonne National Laboratory is soliciting quotations from qualified contractors to provide non-destructive concrete and masonry scanning services on an as-needed basis. *THIS RFQ WILL BE EVALUATED BASED ON LOWEST PRICE, TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE METHODOLOGY* SCOPE The contractor shall perform scanning using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and, when necessary, complementary detection technologies to identify embedded elements in substrates including: Cast-in-place concrete slabs (on grade and elevated) Concrete walls, beams, columns, and decks Concrete masonry units (CMU) Precast concrete elements Structural toppings and overlays Embedded items may include: Reinforcing steel Post-tension cables Electrical conduits Mechanical pip...
