Notice of Intent to Sole Source for Dworshak Dam Elevator Maintenance Services In accordance with FAR 19.1506(b), Women-Owned Small Business Program sole-source awards, the U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Walla Walla District, is issuing this special notice to inform industry of the intent to solicit on a sole source basis for Dworshak Dam Elevator Maintenance Services. FAR 19.1506(b)(1) states the Government SHALL consider an award to a WOSB on a sole source basis before considering a total small business set aside. Based on the quotes received from similar contracts and market research, the Contracting Officer does not have a reasonable expectation that offers would be received from two or more capable WOSB concerns (FAR 19.1506 (b) (2)).
