***The Purpose of Amendment 5 is to add a clause to the terms and conditions; and to respond to a vendor question. *** Question: Our laboratory is not able to perform ash content analysis on solid samples. However, based on the responses provided by USACE to vendor questions in the solicitation, it appears that chloride, sulfate, and hardness analyses may be performed in addition to the other originally requested methods. Could you please confirm whether this substitution would be acceptable, or if you would prefer that we no-bid this specific method?
