Contract Description
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) plans to award a contract on a sole source basis to L3Harris Technologies, Inc. (L3Harris). The contemplated contract will provide one-year base and four (4) option periods of engineering anomaly support to the existing Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES)-NOP series spacecraft imager and sounder instruments. Specifically, the contractor shall work with NOAA and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to maintain GOES-NOP series spacecraft imager and sounder instrument operations through spacecraft decommissioning and deorbit activities.
