Contract Description
STATEMENT OF WORK Biohazard/Infectious Waste Disposal General Contractor shall provide services for bio-hazardous, infectious waste, and chemotherapy waste collection, removal and disposal services at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center Honolulu, Center for Long-Term Care (CLC) in Honolulu, and Community Based Outpatient Clinics in Kauai, Kailua-Kona, Hilo and Maui, hereinafter referred to as VA Pacific Islands Healthcare System (VAPIHCS). 2.0 Definitions Biohazardous Waste -typically includes waste containing pathogens with sufficient virulence and quantity so that exposure of the waste by a susceptible host can result in an infectious disease.
