Contract Description
Under an Interagency Agreement, the John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center) is providing support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Facilities Real Property Disposition program. As part of these efforts, removal/demolition and related activities will be conducted at one Non-directional Beacon (NDB) facility and one Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range (VOR) facility in the FAA’s Eastern Service Area (ESA). The demolition and related activities shall be performed at the FAA facilities listed below: MKL NDB – Jackson, TN (35.515666°, -88.956996°) BWG VOR – Bowling Green, KY (36.928740°, -86.443430°) The FAA no longer uses the equipment/buildings at the above-listed facilities.
