Contract Description

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole source contract to Thermo Fisher Scientific for the procurement of proprietary reagents and consumables in support of the FBI Laboratory Division located in Quantico, Virginia, and Huntsville, Alabama. This requirement is necessary to support ongoing laboratory operations, forensic analysis, and mission-critical scientific functions. Thermo Fisher Scientific is the only known responsible source capable of providing the required proprietary reagents and consumables that are fully compatible with existing FBI laboratory instrumentation, validated testing methods, established workflows, and operational requirements. The use of another source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected ...
