Contract Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8 intends to award a sole source purchase order to Kapcook Enterprises, LLC at the Orlando VA Medical Center in Orlando, FL. The subject MMU is a highly specialized vehicle which combines disciplines from several areas of expertise. Not only does must the contractor be certified by Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), but also hydraulics, and septic systems. The MMU must remain in a constant state of readiness to enable rapid nationwide deployment. Any lapse in readiness or mechanical failure during transit could severely impact veteran patient care, including potential loss of life.
