Contract Description
The Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI), on behalf of the Joint Munitions Command, intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) W519TC-25-R-A005 for the operation, maintenance, and modernization of the Hawthorne Army Depot (HWAD) beginning in calendar year 2026. HWAD is a Government-Owned Contractor-Operated (GOCO) facility located in Hawthorne, Nevada that provides Supply Depot Operations (SDO), including storage, receipts, and issues, as well as demilitarization of munitions. HWAD is the largest Army Depot in the Organic Industrial Base and the only GOCO with demilitarization capability.
