Contract Description
The Radiology Department at Moncrief Army Health Clinic is requesting services for Health Physics inspections on radiation- producing devices to help ensure the safe and effective use of radiation, protecting patients and personnel from excessive or unnecessary exposure. All radiation producing devices, Nuclear Medicine Scanners, and the MRI scanner must receive an annual health physics inspection IAW with ACR, FDA, and Joint Commission. The regional and assigned health physics officers are not certified to perform these surveys on all the required equipment.
