Contract Description
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) SURFACE-C21 Medium Endurance Cutter Product Line (MECPL) has a requirement for the original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Fairbanks Morse Engines, LLC, ALCO 251 overhaul parts kits. These kits are required for inventory stock and direct delivery for overhaul and maintenance for Medium Endurance (WMEC) 210’ and 270’ cutters, and Long Range Enforcers (LRE) POLAR STAR icebreaking vessel’s main diesel engines. The USCG does not possess the proprietary technical specifications, drawings, manufacturing/provisioning data, or special tools necessary to provide these parts kits.
