Contract Description
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Office of the Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO), Taxpayer Focused Division intends to award a sole source purchase order to Rapiscan Systems, Inc, Torrance, California under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a single source (SAP). The proposed action is for Rapiscan X-Ray System Preventive Maintenance services. This notice is published for informational purposes only. No Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued. The Government has determined that Rapiscan is the only responsible source capable of meeting the Government’s requirements for a firm-fixed price purchase order to cover preventive maintenance services for Rapiscan X-Ray Screening Systems.
