Contract Description
Provide the services of a mechanical contractor to replace in kind one (1) existing Webster burner assembly on Boiler #2 in the Boiler Plant (Building 20) at the VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System Montrose Campus. The Scope of Work also includes the replacement of the existing burner train field devices for both gas and oil and the replacement of existing field devices in the front of the boiler. All replacement of the field devices must be in kind. Replace burner air intake manifold and all associated ductwork, fittings, filters, alarms, etc. Other repairs required are listed below. All work shall be performed in accordance with attached VA specifications, VA Design Manual, and VA Boiler and Associated Plant Safety Device Testing Manual, Eighth Edition.
