Contract Description
THIS IS A SPECIAL NOTICE PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL ACQUISTION REGULATION (FAR) 5.2 "SYNOPSIS OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTIONS." U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with Pacific Power Group, LLC, for Dredge Yaquina MTU Engines Annual and Operational Maintenance. Dredge Yaquina’s home port is in Portland Oregon. The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source. The Dredge Yaquina is a U.S. flagged vessel owned by the federal government. The vessel is currently fully inspected under the authority of the U. S. Coast Guard.
