Contract Description
FEMA NATIONAL CROSS DOCK AND INCIDENT SUPPORT SERVICES: A critical task of FEMA Logistics Management Directorate (LMD) is to ensure delivery of the right resources, at the right place, and at the right time to support state, local, tribal governments, and territories. LMD delivers these necessary resources to include commodities and manufactured housing units to provide support during disaster operations. Previous disasters have demonstrated challenges with trailer operations that have resulted in high detention cost and trailer accountability, which impacted returning trailers back to carriers and closure of key FEMA logistic locations.
