Contract Description
The Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C 2304 (c)(1) as implanted by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to enter into a firm fixed price contract with EDM, Inc. of Bemidji, MN. Product Requested is the AEBI Terratrac TT282 mower for Red Rock Dam in Knoxville, IA. This is going sole source because the AEBI Terratrac TT282 has several unique features that when combined make it the only brand capable of mowing the steep back slope and envelopments of the Red Rock Dam.
