Contract Description
The Base Emergency Communications System (BECS) intends to solicit and award Sole Source contract in accordance with FAR Overhaul subpart 12.102, For Other than Full and Open Competition to Motorola Solutions, Inc. The BECS program modernization effort focuses on upgrading and ensuring the interoperability of Army public safety communications. This initiative supports the integration of Fort Irwin NTC’s legacy Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system into the Army CONUS Enterprise (ACE) LMR architecture, in conjunction with enhancing interoperability within the BECS capabilities.
