Contract Description
THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE-SOURCE AWARD UTILIZING FAR 6.302-5(b)(6), “AUTHORIZED OR REQUIRED BY STATUTE” AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTES. The Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires intends to issue a sole source solicitation in accordance with FAR 6.302-5(b)(6), Authorized or Required by Statute, specifically under the Veterans Benefits Act of 2003, codified at 15 U.S.C. § 657f, which authorizes sole source awards to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs).
