Contract Description
Providing turn-key service and supply from an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certified source to upgrade the proprietary ADB Safegate Airfield Lighting Control System (ALCS). This includes upgrading the ALCS North Field and ALCS Main systems from 32-bit to a 64-bit Operating System and replacing legacy unmanaged network switches with new, managed switches. SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SINGLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. 1. The Government intends to solicit and award a sole source Purchase Order for a turn-key ALCS upgrade under the authority of FAR 6.103-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements”.
