Contract Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Pittsburgh District, is carrying out a Project at Pike Island Locks and Dam, Ohio River, Belmont County, West Virginia. The work is located on both the Main Lock Chamber and the Auxiliary Lock Chamber, downstream of each of the downstream miter gates at the poiree dam location. The site of the work may be reached from state and local roads and streets, however, floating plant support may be required for some features of work. The general description of the work is to furnish all equipment, labor, layout of work, and supervision to prepare the site for future installation of downstream bulkhead recesses by others.
