Contract Description
The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) Healthcare Contracting Division- Southeast (HCD-Southeast) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (FAR 12.201), soliciting from a single source. The proposed source is Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Informatics, Inc. (Cage Code: 1RAP7), 2000 Holiday Dr., STE 500, Charlottesville, VA 22901-3601. The DHACA HCD-Southeast has a requirement for a middleware solution for point of care (POC) testing connectivity that can transmit patient test results into the hospital’s current laboratory information system for current devices Roche Accu-Chek Inform II and Abbott i-STAT 1 devices.
