NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego intends to award a sole source contract to Springer Nature Customer Service Center, LLC for a complete publication of open access textbook provisionally titled Military Microgrids – Installation, Operational, Expeditionary, and Tactical Microgrid Applications to Springer Nature Customer Service Center LLC (Springer). The textbook is about military microgrids; and have the book published in open access and are intending to put out a new edition at a cadence of every 1-2 years. The textbook comprise of approximately 320 pages including approximately 90 illustrations. The textbook is drafted by multiple editors.
