United States Coast Guard Special Purpose Craft – Ice Rescue Transport (SPC-IRT II) Second Generation Request for Information (RFI) Synopsis: This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to identify existing or readily adaptable designs that meet USCG operational needs. Responses to this RFI will be used to refine requirements prior to issue of a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Special Purpose Craft – Ice Rescue Transport (SPC-IRT II) is a multi-mission boat primarily intended for conducting missions in environments requiring the boat to transit over water, ice, and or level areas of land, to transit in the vicinity of the Great Lakes to conduct Search and Rescue (SAR), Living Marine Resources (LMR), and Other Law Enforcement (OLE) missions.
