Contract Description
This is a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Electronic Systems Directorate, Foreign Military Branch (FMS), AFLCMC/ESAK, Hanscom AFB, MA 01731. This RFP is to provide the Albanian Air Force (AAF) with one (1) Very High Frequency Omni Directional Range Tactical Air Navigation (VORTAC) system; one (1) Category I Instrument Landing System/Distance Measuring Equipment (ILS/DME) system; and one (1) Weather Radar system for Kucova Air Base (AB), Albania. The VORTAC, ILS/DME, and Weather Radar systems shall be capable of supporting the AAF and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) inventory aircraft and shall support Visual Flight Rules (VFR) and Instrument Flight Rules (IFR).
