Contract Description
Amendment 005 to Solicitation #36C25926Q0261 (Trash Removal and Recycling Services) This amendment s purpose is to provide clarification on line item #0002 based on recent questions. Interested small businesses should note, the existing contract for trash removal services at the Grand Junction VA Medical Center facility is with Waste Management (WM) until 4/30/2026. The existing compactor is currently in good working condition. As part of the existing contract, the 8-yard compactor was fully installed at the facility at the beginning of the contract. Any small business vendors who are offering a quote with Waste Management as a subcontractor should factor in the existence of the Waste Management-owned compactor.
