Contract Description

As per the SOW, 3.e exterior grade hollow metal doors are to be provided giving mention to consideration for exterior use and corrosion resistance but does not provide clear specification on the desired product. Does the government intend to receive grade 316 stainless steel doors, marine-grade powder coated doors, aluminum doors, or galvanized/zinc-coated steel doors? Answer: 316 stainless steel coated for weather. In coordination with the previous question, is it desired for all hardware to be 316 stainless steel where applicable to resist corrosion? Answer: Yes As per SOW, 3.f it is requested to provide new push-button door locks handles at all 10 door locations. It was noted at the site visit that this is desired only at two (2) locations.
