Contract Description
Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Naval Support Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk intends to issue a sole source contract to the University of Southern California for a requirement that provides trauma training courses seven times a year for up to 30 medical officers and enlisted hospital Corpsmen. The requirement is for the Navy Trauma Training Center (NTTC) located at Los Angeles General Medical Center (LAGMC); it is a learning site of Navy Medicine Operational Training Command (NMOTC). The course includes didactic lectures, skills rodeo application, simulation laboratory utilizing Laerdal SIMMAN 3G, K-9 Dog Trainers, SONOSIM and CAE VI Medix Ultrasound Trainers and other simulation equipment, clinical rotations, and a three-day hands-on training on non-perfused and perfused cadaver bodie...
