NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Kentucky Air National Guard intends to award a sole source purchase order to Butler Parachute Systems, Inc. (cage code 0D4Z0), 1820 LOUDON AVE NW, ROANOKE, VA 24017 for complete TT-1000 Tandem Systems. Butler Parachute Systems, Inc. will be able to provide the tandem parachute systems to ensure the Kentucky Air National Guard Special Tactics Squadron will adhere to various Air Force requirements and Technical Orders. Butler Parachute Systems, Inc. is the sole manufacturer and distributor for the TT-1000 Tandem Parachute System. Any deviation from the use of standardized parachutes may hinder mission success and lead to significant confusion amongst aircrew and technicians.
