Contract Description
On March 1st, 2025, President Trump signed Executive Order 14225: Immediate Expansion of American Timber Production, directing federal agencies to enhance active forest management, increase domestic timber production, and strengthen partnerships that support landscape-scale restoration and wildfire-risk reduction. In alignment with this directive, forests continue to advance the shared stewardship framework – a collaborative approach that brings federal, state, tribal, and local partners together to identify shared priorities and take joint action to improve forest health and community resilience.
