Contract Description
The Defense Forensic Science Center has a mission critical requirement for the procurement of the annual service agreement for the Orbis SDD Spectrometer. This maintenance agreement is required for a critical laboratory material science X-ray analysis device with user interface software applications supporting the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory conduct of criminal evidence forensic examinations. EDAX is the sole source provider of field service, various parts and assemblies for repair, service, and maintenance for the EDAX Orbis EDXRF analysis system.
