Contract Description
Abate Asbestos Pipe Insulation – B76 528A6-26-611 GENERAL PROJECT WORK SCOPE DESCRIPTION Existing Conditions: The Bath VAMC is located at 76 Veterans Avenue, Bath, NY 14810. The layout is a campus with more than 30 buildings located on over 200 acres. Normal working hours are Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm. The Scope of this project includes but is not limited to the abatement of ACM pipe insulation found within Building 76. Contactor shall follow all requirements and procedures set by the local, state, and federal rule, regulation, and guidelines for the proper removal and disposal of ACM. Building 76 being a fully operational Medical Center may restrict the hours of work and may require off-tour work to ensure continuous operations of the facility as directed by the COR.
