NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOAA's Marine Operations Center, Acquisition, Accountability, and Analysis Branch, intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1); with Hexatronic Rochester Cable Inc. for the procurement of Rochester Cable for the NOAA Ship Bell. M. Shimada’s Hydrographic Winches. Sole Source Justification: Hexatronic Rochester Cable is the original equipment manufacturer of the needed wire rope. Their cable is the only compatible CTD cable fabricated for use on the Lebus Shell for the NOAA Ship Bell M. Shimada’s Hydrographic Winches.
