Contract Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price contract to the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) for support of the Pregnancy Mortality Surveillance System (PMSS) – Texas. The purpose of this requirement is to obtain vital records data necessary to support CDC’s national Pregnancy Mortality Surveillance System. The contractor will provide pregnancy-associated mortality data, including death records and associated birth or fetal death records, to support the identification and epidemiologic analysis of pregnancy-associated deaths occurring in Texas.
