This is a Notice of Intent, not a request for proposal. The National Institute of Health, Clinical Center (NIH-CC) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with Railroad Cleaners. The National Institute of Health (NIH) requires a bridge contract is to ensure continuity of cleaning and laundry services that are essential to continue to protect human safety and human healthcare. We intend to sole source to this vendor, because they are already performing laundry/cleaning services and would not need any additional lead or setup times. This is a temporary bridge from previous contract until a new contract is awarded.
