NIST-SS26-05 PSC/NAICS (AMD) – 6640/ 339113 Title: Sources Sought Notice for Pfeiffer A100L Pump BACKGROUND The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research and identify potential sources of commercial products/services that satisfy the Government’s anticipated needs. The National Institute of Standards and Technology requires a dry multi-stage roots pump to replace a broken pump to pump and circulate the helium mixture gas in a dilution refrigerator. The dilution refrigerator produces ultra-low temperatures for mission-critical experiments in metrology for quantum information science and electrical standards dissemination. The broken pump will be replaced with the Pfeiffer Vacuum A100 L Pump, Model Number A100L31324, to match the existing Pfeiffer Vacuum A100 L pump...
