The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price award for the US Coast Guard Sector Western Alaska and Arctic Region for Unlimited Internet Services. The vendor will be Copper Valley Telephone Cooperative Incorporation, 329 Fairbanks Dr. Valdez, Alaska 99686, US. UEI: CL4BS3KW94K5. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 12.102, services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source and no other type of services will satisfy agency requirements. The justification to award this Contract to Copper Valley is based on the unit having the wired infrastructure in place, the commercial internet service provider has been reviewed and approved by the US Coast Guard Cyber and the cost of the internet service...
