Contract Description

INTRODUCTION The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single firm-fixed-price contract for the Design-Build minor construction project #644-25-039, Plumbing Infrastructure Upgrades Repairs at Buildings 1 and 8 and Exterior at Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 650 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85012. PROJECT DESCRIPTION This project is to replace existing sewer and vent piping that has failed/deteriorated along with heat exchangers, steam piping, condensate pipe, associated valves and traps, and tank systems. The project, at minimum, will consist of primarily replacing failed sewer lines and possible some vents for the basement ...
