THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order for installation of a new clean agent system and the demolition of the existing system at USCG Potato Point and Hinchenbrook in Sector Field Office, Valdez Area of Responsibility, Alaska. The vendor will be YUKON FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES, INC., 5451 Laona Drive, Anchorage, AK 99518-1087, UEI: JAWTGX9MCDJ6 This action is being awarded on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source and no other type of services will satisfy agency requirements.
